Vegoose Day 3
Ramsey and Todd Chillin' at the Rio
With the festival over with, there was only one thing left to do: See Widespread Panic at the Thomas and Mack Arena at UNLV. But first, we played poker. This time I busted out either 20th or 19th. No money made, but it was fun.
After eating and hanging out a bit, we headed to the show. The DJ group Crystal Method was the opener. They "played" right into WSP's first song. I don't know Panic's repertoire well enough, but it was a sweet show. They had the Dirty Dozen Brass Band brass playing along with them. The highlight for me was the beginning of the 2nd set. Crystal Method "played" the set break, and ended it with Stevie Wonder's "Superstition". Their DJ'd version went right into Panic playing "Superstition". The transition was way cool.
Since the show was on campus, there were a lot of college hotties in costume. No need to describe them. Let's just say "YUMMY!"
The next morning we flew home.
THE END.
